It made me laugh, and it made me cry!
What a sweet, sweet book! It made me laugh and it made me cry, and that's the highest praise I can give any book. "Elf" is such a darling character!

Hear My Cry (Avalon Mystery)
Published in Hardcover by Thomas Bouregy & Co (24 April, 1997)
Author: E. L. Larkin
Average review score:

Snappy, fast-paced, plot with tongue-in-cheek humor.
Really enjoyed this new author's fresh look at murder and mayhem in Seattle, Washington. Having lived in the Wallingford area most of my life, I got a special kick out of her setting for this somewhat reluctant, sarcastic detective of sorts who finds herself solving the crime in spite of herself. A fun read.

A PLEASING, SWEET ROMANCE THAT WARMS THE HEART
This is a feel good book with characters you can relate to and root for. In language and content, it's also a great book for teenagers and grandmothers, really for the whole family. Don't miss it!

Good read!
Hidden Legacy was a great find for me. I love mysteries with atmosphere, and this book was loaded with it. Plus her characters were interesting, and a little quirky. I had a lot of fun reading Hidden Legacy, and hope this author writes a lot more mysteries.

The Hidden Secret of Avalon
Published in Paperback by Black Forest Press (24 October, 2001)
Author: Ted Berndt

From A Teenager Who Loves It!
The Hidden Secret of Avalon, sequel to Search For The City, is the kind of book you want to share with friends. Right from the beginning I was captivated. The further I read the more I wanted. Richard's gentle spirit, yet strong in the face of overwhelming odds, made him a character I held close to my heart. Also the other characters: Mrs. Flowers, the plump, outspoken and adorable old woman, Wild Meg the mysterious creature, elusive as the wind...and many more. There was never a dull moment. At the end I discovered the real secret of Avalon and I'll remember it.

Home at Last (Avalon Career Romance)
Published in Hardcover by Avalon (June, 2003)
Author: Kim Watters
Average review score:

This one's a winner.........
The book jacket states that Ms. Watters at age 12 borrowed a romance novel from her older sister and later decided to write her own romance novels. I'm glad she did. This is an excellent well-written book - a quick read on a hot afternoon. The author certainly knows her animals. She could have been describing some of the many animals in our house when the kids were growing up - except for the pregnant ferret! I don't think we had one of those - at least I hope not. Some characters in the book are funny, wacky and familiar and found in any family. This is a book that can be read and enjoyed by all ages. I'll be looking forward to more books by Kim Watters.

Imperfect Together (Avalon Romance)
Published in Hardcover by Avalon (October, 2001)
Author: Amanda Harte
Average review score:

Outstanding & w/ unexpected plot twists!
So you think all romances are alike -- well you could never be more wrong! You may think you know where the story is going and BAM it goes in a completely different direction.
As a Jersey girl myself, I love the setting and how New Jersey is portrayed - yes we have highways and malls, but there is much much more if you take the time to see and experience it.
The book was a Christmas present and I could not put it down once I made the time to start it. It was very riveting! So Amamda Harte, when can I expect something else great to read?

Jessie's Wedding (Avalon Romance)
Published in Hardcover by Avalon (August, 2001)
Authors: Kathryn Quick and Barbara Delinsky
Average review score:

Romantic and Touching Story
Jessie's Wedding is a suspencful romance that keeps the reader guessing, and wishing until the end. Jessie O'Brien had known Jarrett Collins since they were cildren at her aunt's wedding. They dated throughtout their adolescence and early twenties, until Jarrett left her.

Now Jessie, older and wiser, has overcome the pain of Jarrett leaving and gotten her life on track and in the right direction. Until one day, Jarrett shows up as the new doctor at the hospital she works at. Now seeing him again, Jessie remembers her past and how their life together was. Although she knows better than to let herself fall for Jarrett and open up to him, she soon finds herself doing so. The fear of being hurt once again by him worries her along with the mysteries of his life while he was away from Wisconsin. Jessie lets herself fall in his trap of secret, but can she overcome their past as well as his past and let them start their life togteher again, or will these secrets and memories ruin their chances of being together once more?

Kathryn quick writes a truely touching romance. The romance between Jessie and Jarrett brings hope to any relationship and allows the reader to feel the emotions in Jessie's heart as she lets Jarrett back into her life. I recomend this novel to any romance lover looking from an enjoyable page-turner. The story held you until the very end and kept you wanting more. An excellent novel!

This was the first western I have read and I found it a great introduction to the genre. It is one of those books that you start and finish in one sitting. I highly recommend it!

John Tesh: Avalon Piano/Vocal
Published in Paperback by Cherry Lane Music (May, 1997)
Author: Cherry Lane Music
Average review score:

Great Book
To all the people who want to know or buy this book, it is the piano songbook I have played in 5 years (besides the One World). It has some very difficult songs but some are pretty easy like The Inn on Mount Ada or Goodnight Moon. One of the toughest song I had ever played from John Tesh is the Spanish Steps. I would recommend it to any one.
